Overview:
The Initiative for Biological Systems Engineering (IBSE) at IIT Madras, is an interdisciplinary group dedicated to pioneering innovative approaches and algorithms that integrate the multi-dimensional data across scales, to know, predict and manipulate the complex biological systems, which is organizing an Online 8th IBSE Workshop. This Online Workshop will be held on 12 January 2021 from 2.30 pm onwards.
Topics to be Covered:
- Microbial community analyses for metabolite production
- Understanding the patterns of co-occurrence of somatic mutations in cancer
- Multi-objective optimization for co-production of metabolites
- A method for identification of feature contribution to classes using multiple equally discriminatory subsets of features
- Estimation of gestational age in the second and third trimesters for participants in the Garbhini cohort
