Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Silchar is inviting an application for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is sponsored by DST-SERB (SRG) entitled "Design and development of induction welding system for in situ repairs of exit hole defect in friction stir the welded sample". The Last date of receiving applications: 23 December 2020.
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Essential Qualification: M.E., M. Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology streams (Manufacturing/Design/Materials) (GATE/NET qualified) with first-class in.
Desirable Experience: Master Degree in Design and Manufacturing Engineering/CAD-CAM and Automation/ Manufacturing Engineering/Materials with relevant research experience in the field of welding and joining.

Applicants are requested to submit their filled-up applications alongside C.V. to the PI accompanying photocopies of all the relevant documents with the self-attestation to the address: Dr. Bipul Das, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Candidate should write “Application for the post of JRF under the project SRG/2020/000293” on the highest of the envelope containing the filled form with the relevant documents. Applicants also are requested to send the soft copy of the duly filled application alongside C.V.
