Overview :

TE Connectivity is hiring for the position of Staff R&D/Product DVL Engineer.

 

 

 

Requirements :

  • Engineering Students
  • ANSYS experience is mandatory
  • APDL experience is a strong plus
  • If the person does not have APDL experience, the person should have good experience in writing software or scripts
  • Experience in VB, C, C++, Python, etc. is required
  • Since ANSYS Workbench has been enhancing the capability of building the model by Python, it will be a strong plus if the engineer has the capability for Python
  • B.S. degree or above majored in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Working experience in mechanical architecture in sever, switch is preferred
  • Familiar with the metal manufacturing process, like stamping, forging, machining, die-casting, etc.
  • Understand the tolerance analysis logic
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office software and good presentation kill

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities Required :

  • Chase the source of the issues on the numerical unconvergence and find out the resolution on the mechanical FEA simulation having multiple structures interacting
  • Create the recipes for the optimized meshing, time stepping, convergence criteria, numerical parameters of physical contact properties, and other required simulation parameters on the platform models
  • Build up standard FEA simulation models as the library of socket hardware (mechanical compression system of LGA Socket)
  • Build up post-processing scripts to see the parametric influence on the simulation results holistically
  • Support socket hardware FEA simulation on the new product development when the capacity constraint happens for the engineers in China
  • Join the concept review and design review meeting, and provide comments from a mechanical simulation perspective
  • Study the reason for the discrepancy between simulation result and actual test result and generate the guidance to minimize the gap
  • Lead in resolving the simulation issues down to the closure
