Overview
BMW Group’s AI Strategy team drives the transformation of industrial operations through artificial intelligence and modern software engineering. The team builds rapid prototypes, trend intelligence systems, and contributes to Large Industrial Models that deliver impact across business units.
As an Intern in Software Development — AI Strategy, you’ll help take prototypes from concept to working demonstrators, integrate data sources and APIs, build UIs, contribute to Large Industrial Models (development, training, evaluation), support trend-research tools, and communicate results via technical readouts and concise docs for technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Requirements
- Studies: Computer science, software engineering, data science, or a comparable discipline.
- Skills: Strong programming skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
- Approach: MVP-driven — deliver quickly, test, iterate, while keeping quality high.
- Initiative: Drive tasks to completion independently without step-by-step guidance.
- Languages: Excellent command of both German and English.
