Overview:
IISER, Pune invites applications from Indian nationals having the excellent academic record for the following positions purely on a temporary and contractual basis under the project titled “Quantum Information Technologies with ion-trap and optical-lattice devices” (Project code:30119482) funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

Minimum Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics with a strong background in quantum information and computation. Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply. Preference Candidates having their Ph.D. in quantum information and analysis, quantum dynamics, quantum chaos, Bose-Einstein condensates, and related areas with good experience in both analytical and non-trivial numerical computations will be preferred.
Tenure of the appointment :
Initially, for one year, which may be extended subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
Consolidated emoluments :
1) Rs. 47,000/- + 24% HRA to Rs. 54,000/- + 24% HRA per month depending upon the experience 2), Candidates who have submitted their thesis but not completed defense will be designated as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and paid Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA per month till the time of submission of Provisional Ph.D. certificate.

Ph.D. in Experimental Physics with a strong background in Photonics, Quantum optics, Atomic physics, and Laser spectroscopy. Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply.

1) Rs. 47,000/- + 24% HRA to Rs. 54,000/- + 24% HRA per month depending upon the experience 2) Candidates who have submitted their thesis but not completed defense.
