IIT Patna | Hiring for Psychologists, Apply by 20th July 2023!
Overview:
IIT Patna, an institute of national importance is looking for hiring two Psychologists (one male and one female). Interested ones can apply.
Eligibility:
- Age should be preferably below 50 Years as on the closing date of application.
- Master’s degree in Psychology
- PG Diploma/ Certificate courses in General psychology/counselling
- Experience as counsellor/Psychologists in any academic institute/ hospital for at least one year
(certificates to be enclosed in support of the above).
Salary:
Consolidated pay of Rs 50,000/- per month shall be admissible.
Duty hours:
Duty hours (in general): Monday to Saturday from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. However, selected candidates are expected to be available on a 24 x7 basis and on call, including involvement in day-to-day administrative duties or any other work assigned from time to time. Anytime, services have to be rendered based upon requirement/emergency even during holidays/weekly off days.
General Terms and Conditions:
- The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis for a period of 10 months initially, subject to satisfactory performance, at the sole discretion of this Institute. Any claim for absorption at the regular position in the Institute will not be entertained at any point in time.
- 08 days of Casual leave in a calendar year may be given. This leave will not be carried forward in case the engagement period is extended by this Institute. Also, no payment in lieu of unutilized leave will be paid by this Institute at the time of the expiry of the contract.
- The Institute may terminate the services of the Psychologist in case he/she is unable to perform his/her duty to the satisfaction.
- The Institute shall also reserve the right to terminate the services of the Psychologist at any time without giving any notice and also without assigning any reason.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment.
- Any resultant dispute shall be settled within the jurisdiction of IIT Patna.
- Psychologists have to follow the rules and regulations of IIT Patna during their services
