Overview :
Applications are invited to recruit one Visiting Scientist position purely on a temporary basis at the North East Centre of the Indian Statistical Institute.
Requirements :
Ph.D. degree in Statistics or allied areas with at least one publication in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. Those who have submitted their thesis may also apply
Salary :
Consolidated monthly emolument of ~ Rs. 32500 - 52000/- as per rules of the Institute depending on the qualification and experience
Tenure :
The tenure of appointment will be initially till 31 March 2023 from the date of their joining the Institute which may be extended Later/ terminated earlier, depending on the availability of funds and performance of the candidate.
