Overview:
Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Andhra Pradesh is inviting applications for the post of SRF. Interested ones can apply. Applications are invited from interested candidates for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work for the project “National Centre for Development of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes for Clean Coal Technologies" – DST funded sponsored research project (TMD/CERI/CleanCoal/2017/36).
Project Title:
Analytical modeling of laser-assisted milling and laser-assisted turning under DST-funded sponsored research project National Centre for Development of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes for Clean Coal Technologies in collaboration with ARCI – Balapur.

Essential Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.E/M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or its relevant specializations with a minimum 60% mark (or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale).

The candidate will be selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. National Eligibility Tests -CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. National-level examinations conducted by MoE and its Agencies and institutions
such as UGC/llT/llSc./llSER/lllT etc.
- Two years of research experience.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Machining process, Finite element analysis, soft computing techniques, and machine learning.
Duration of Project:
12 months
Salary:
Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA (As applicable) per month
Age Limit:
35 years as of the closing date of the application (Age may be relaxed for exceptional candidates)
