NIT Bhopal is hosting Dark Patterns Buster Hackathon (DPBH-2023), a hackathon aimed at countering deceptive design to ensure ethical user experiences, inviting applicants to participate.

 

The problem statement:

Design and prototype innovative apps or software-based solutions that can detect the use, type, and scale of dark patterns on e-commerce platforms.

  • Important Guidelines for Team Participants, a team should include 2 to 5 eager participants.
  • The top 5 teams will be awarded after final Round 3 at IIT (BHU).
  • Prizes of INR 10 Lakhs, INR 5 Lakhs, INR 3 Lakhs, INR 2 Lakhs & INR 1 Lakh.
