Overview:
Department of Physics, NIT Nagpur is inviting applications for the post of JRF. Interested ones can apply. Applications are invited for the full-time JRF position to work under the SERB-CRG project entitled “Device grade flexible solid-state supercapacitor for flexible electronic applications using conducting polymer, MXene, and rGO fibers”.
Eligibility:
Candidates are expected to have a post-graduate degree in Physics with a good academic background and sound knowledge in Materials Science/ Thin Films/Supercapacitors/ Electrospinning is desirable.
Designation & Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 01 M.Sc. (Physics) with a minimum of First Class at Master’s level. (NET/GATE qualification in Physics is desirable).
Duration of the project:
3 years or until the tenure of the project.
Salary:
Fellowship per month for first 2 years: Rs. 31,000/-
Fellowship per month after 2 years: Rs. 35,000/-

Note:
The post is purely temporary and the initial appointment will be for six months with a provision to extend every six months till the completion of the project subject to the approval of the Director, VNIT. The candidate selected for the position of JRF will have the option to register for PhD program subject to satisfying VNIT’s norms for registration.
