Overview :
Applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellowship in a purely time-bound project undertaken in the Department of Applied Geology of the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
Name of the Research Project :
Lunar surface mineralogical analysis using Imaging Infra-red Spectrometer (IIRS) data
Requirements :
Post Graduate Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Geo-informatics, OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable Qualifications :
Experience in Hyperspectral remote sensing/python/IDL/Matlab etc
