Title of the Project:
Predictive Coding for the Identification of Ratio Decidendi in Indian Judicial Decisions.
Project Positions and Numbers:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate I/ Project Associate II and 1 Vacancy.
Essential Qualifications:
JRF: M.E/M.Tech or M.E/M.Tech with First class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent with a minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university/institute with a valid GATE score
(or)
Project Associate – II: B.E/B.Tech or M.E./ M.Tech. with First class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent with a minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university/institute and 2 years experience in Research and Development in industrial or academic institutions.
(or)
Project Associate – I: B.E/B.Tech or M.E./ M.Tech. with First class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent with a minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university/institute
Emoluments:
For GATE qualified Candidates:
Junior Research Fellow - Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA
For Non-GATE Qualified Candidates:
Project Associate II – Rs.28,000/- + 16% HRA
Project Associate I – Rs.25,000/- + 16% HRA
Duration:
36 months(maximum), [The contemporary position is initially for 12 months and is extendable only for the duration of the project subject to satisfactory performance].
Job Description:
- To execute the research work detailed in the untitled project
- Compilation of the results
- Report preparation and presentation
- The selected candidates will be permitted to register for the Ph.D. program as per NITT rules and regulations
