Overview

As an Optiver Software Engineer Intern you’ll work side-by-side with a mentor and teammates on real team-scoped projects — not hypothetical tasks — and ship high-quality software designed to last. Contribute to trading problems and improve performance, reliability, and scalability; see your code hit production in real time across AI-rich, data-dense financial markets.

The program mirrors full-time engineering: dive into trading fundamentals, strategies, AI-enabled tools, and cutting-edge tech; collaborate with engineers, traders, and business teams to develop, test, and ship; and tackle complex real-world problems in a high-performing environment. Same opportunity is also posted for the Austin office.
