Overview
PayPal’s university Software Engineer Intern program places interns across five U.S. hubs for Summer 2027. You work on the systems behind a global two-sided payments network—building, debugging, and shipping with standard SWE fundamentals.

Eligibility / Key Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field
- Must return to school in Fall 2027
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Experience with at least one of Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar; familiarity with data structures, algorithms, OOP, and debugging
- Project experience from coursework, internships, research, or personal work
