Overview
Together AI runs an AI-native cloud for inference, fine-tuning, and large-scale training. This Summer 2027 intern joins the security team that protects that stack: hardware roots of trust, firmware, operating systems, and cloud identity. You own a scoped project—prototyping controls, automating telemetry, or researching confidential computing—and present the result at the end of the term.
The work sits next to production platform security (BMCs, TPMs, secure boot, device identity), not a disconnected research demo. Mentors expect Python or Bash fluency and comfort reading systems you did not design.
Eligibility / Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, earned or expected by Summer 2028
- Foundations in computer architecture, operating systems, networking, embedded systems, or digital logic
- Strong Python or Bash
- Some exposure to building AI-assisted applications
- Preferred: prior security work (internship, research, or projects) in hardware, embedded, or platform security
