Zipline SWE Intern Fall 2026 | $54/hr South San Francisco

Overview

Zipline designs, builds, and operates the world’s largest autonomous logistics system — delivering blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products. Customers include major healthcare systems, governments, retailers, and global businesses. The drone is only ~15% of the stack; the rest is the software and ops that make seamless global delivery possible.

As a Fall 2026 SWE intern you’ll take technical ownership of critical features across Zipline’s consumer mobile and web apps — from design through deployment and iteration. You’ll build in the React Native mobile codebase or backend services in Python and Go, collaborate cross-functionally on fast, elegant user-facing features, and help shape long-term technical roadmap and engineering best practices.

Key Requirements

• Eligibility: Must have completed the second year of undergraduate studies; Master’s and PhD students are also eligible.
• Availability: Full-time, in-person internship at the South San Francisco office, September–December 2026.
• Skills: Passion for software development; strong CS fundamentals; curiosity to learn new stacks (React Native, Python, Go).
