Overview
Affirm’s early-career program pairs new graduates in computer science, or a related major, with a tenured engineer. The first year is hybrid: three days a week in the London office, with the rest remote. After that year you can stay hybrid, go remote, or work from an office.
The work is ordinary product engineering on a live fintech stack: take a business problem, write tested code that touches several services, and review other people’s changes. The posting does not offer visa sponsorship.
Eligibility / Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- You can turn a small problem into clear, tested code that talks to more than one system
- Comfortable in a large codebase: debugging someone else’s code and leaving useful review comments
- Able to work hybrid from London (in office three days a week)
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
