Overview

Amazon hires SDE interns to write real software alongside experienced engineers on projects that matter to customers. In Dublin you’ll be matched to a manager and mentor, own an impactful project, and work across distributed systems, data mining, automation, optimisation, scalability, and security — often touching AWS, catalogue, or personalisation services.

Key work includes conceiving and shipping products with cross-disciplinary teams, designing tech in large distributed environments, building prediction solutions at scale, and delivering scalable, fault-tolerant storage/index/query systems in an agile setup. Key Requirements

• Basic: Enrolled in Bachelor’s or above in CS, Computer Engineering, or related fields; knowledge of C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl; CS fundamentals (OOD, OS, algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis).
