Overview
Belvedere Trading builds proprietary trading technology from the ground up. Software Engineer Interns work with full-time engineers and peers on low-latency, high-performance trading systems across the full software lifecycle — design, implementation, debugging, testing, and deployment.
You’ll collaborate on complex trading applications, communicate with project managers and leadership, and join Belvedere Trading University (BTU) peer-led lectures covering trading fundamentals and proprietary systems — finance background not required going in.
Key Requirements
- Eligibility: Graduation date of December 2027 / Spring 2028; able to live in Chicago and attend fully in person Summer 2027.
- Skills: Experience building efficient, extensible programs — preferably OOP (C++, C#, or Java); strong communication of project updates; AI fluency using tools while keeping independent judgment.
- Mindset: High performer with ownership in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture; intellectual curiosity; passion for markets + technology.
- Logistics: Regular on-site attendance during business hours; no travel required; sponsorship available.
