Overview
Ciena's WaveLogic software team builds embedded software that powers high-speed optical networking — multi-core CPUs, SoCs, Ethernet PHYs, FPGAs, and optics. New grads design drivers, diagnostics, and apps in C/C++/Python, debug throughput issues, and ship across the product lifecycle.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 1+ years Embedded C and C++ (internships/projects count toward aptitude)
- Linux and/or Zephyr kernel/user-space drivers
- BSP, security, and board bring-up interest
- Nice: RTOS, Zephyr drivers, DWDM/OTN/Ethernet/TCP-IP exposure
