As a PhD ML Intern you own an open research problem tied to products used by millions — scoping with a Staff ML mentor, evaluating on real data, and aiming for a top-venue paper submission.
Eligibility / Key Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in CS/ML/Stats/OR/Applied Math (or related); returning to program after internship
- Graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028
- Track record of ML research (publications, preprints, or substantial projects)
- Strong foundation in RL / sequential decision-making; causal inference & counterfactual evaluation preferred
- Ability to write production-quality code on real ML pipelines
