Overview
Novaflow is hiring a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to build the backend infrastructure powering an AI data analyst for biology labs. Researchers use Novaflow to go from raw genomics data to publication-ready insights in days instead of months — replacing weeks-long waits on bioinformatics core services.
This is a small, founder-led YC S25 team backed by Y Combinator and BioRender. You'll ship production code used by scientists — APIs, cloud infra, databases, and data pipelines moving real genomics data — with direct access to founders, product strategy, and customer conversations. Remote or in-person in San Francisco.
