Overview
This Austin internship sits where AI agents meet compilers and GPU kernels. You may build agent workflows that drive experiments, analyze compiler/kernel feedback, prototype optimization tools, or improve developer infrastructure. Candidates can enter from a compiler or kernel background—NVIDIA does not expect expertise in every area.
You partner with compiler, kernel, architecture, AI, and performance engineers and measure correctness, runtime, compile time, and resource use on real workloads.
Eligibility / Key Requirements
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar

- Coursework, research, or projects in AI/ML/agents, compilers, GPU kernels/CUDA, systems, or performance engineering
- Ability to design experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings
- Standouts: LLVM/MLIR, CUDA/Triton kernels, agentic coding tools, open-source or research impact
