Overview

Shop Circle — an AI-native holding company that acquires and scales mission-critical B2B software businesses — is hiring a 6-month AI Intern in London. You'll sit close to the central AI team and work on tools and workflows that reach across the portfolio and the 200,000+ businesses they serve.

The role is hands-on and outcome-led: prototype with LLMs, test what works, ship what earns its place, and see impact in weeks — not quarters. You'll move between experimentation and delivery on internal tools and customer-facing AI features.

Key Requirements

• Education: Currently studying or recently graduated in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Programming: Working knowledge of Python; willingness to learn fast on the job.
• AI: Hands-on familiarity with large language models and prompting through study or personal projects.
• Duration: 6-month internship based in London.
• Work scope: Build/test LLM prototypes; translate business requirements into AI experiments; evaluate model outputs; automate workflows; document and ship tools.
• Mindset: Strong analytical thinking; clear written communication; high agency and comfort in ambiguity.
• Nice-to-haves: Side projects others have used; B2B SaaS exposure; APIs, Git, basic data pipelines; end-to-end shipped projects.
• Collaboration: Work with engineers, product, and operators from concept to use.
