ADVANCES IN MATERIALS JOINING AND MECHANICAL TESTING OF WELD JOINTS

Overview:

Department of Metallurgy Engineering & Materials Science, Indian Institute of Technology Indore is organizing an Internship Opportunity on "ADVANCES IN MATERIALS JOINING AND MECHANICAL TESTING OF WELD JOINTS". This internship is under the "Accelerate Vigyan –Vritika Program, supported by DST".

This internship is meant to possess interactive lectures on the topics associated with current trends in welding technology, failure analysis, and characterization alongside virtual training associated with advanced welding technology and mechanical behavior of weld joint, literature study on advanced welding techniques, and report submission by participating students.

Who can Apply?

• Highly motivated PG students from any recognized university from India interested to enhance their knowledge in the area of welding (preferably from mechanical, material, manufacturing, production, automotive / aerospace/ applied mechanics/ or equivalent branches of engineering and science) are eligible to use.

Certification:

After completion of the internship and submit a brief report certificate will be issued.
