IIT Indore is inviting applications for a One-day Sponsored Workshop on Emerging Technologies for Transportation Safety. Interested ones can apply.
Aim & Objective of Workshop:
1. The IIT Indore is organizing a workshop on emerging technologies for transportation safety on December 23, 2023. Several emerging technologies such as Autonomous Vehicles, V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) Communication, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), V2P (Vehicle-to-Pedestrian) Communication etc. have been making significant strides in improving transportation safety.
2. The objective of this workshop is to provide an interactive knowledge-sharing platform from different eminent speakers in the field of emerging technologies adopted for transportation safety.
3. The workshop will comprise lectures on related topics such as Safe Road Infrastructure Design, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Vehicular Communication.
4. There would be a demonstration session on advanced data collection techniques for road safety studies.

The workshop will be conducted on 23rd December 2023 at the Department of Civil Engineering Indian Institute of Technology Indore.
