Overview:
NIT Kurukshetra is inviting applications for a Self-Sponsored One Week Hands-on Workshop on Tools and Techniques for Information and Cyber Security. Interested ones can apply.
Objective of the Workshop:
- The participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various types of cyber threats and the techniques used by cybercriminals to exploit vulnerabilities.
- The participants will learn about best practices for securing their digital assets, including data encryption, password management, network security, and software updates.
- The participants will receive guidance on implementing robust cybersecurity policies and procedures within their organizations to safeguard sensitive information and maintain regulatory compliance.
This workshop will provide hands-on sessions where participants can practice real-world scenarios, such as responding to simulated cyber-attacks or conducting vulnerability assessments.

Step 2: Select Educational Institutions.
Step 3: Select State Haryana and search for DIRECTOR NIT KURUKSHETRA in the search bar (on the left side).
Then Select DIRECTOR NIT KURUKSHETRA option at the bottom
Step 4: Select Payment Category (TICS-2024), Proceed (Fill in the requested details & Submit),
and collect the receipt.
