Great words of wisdom said by Albert Einstein. NIMBUS, the Annual Technical Fest of NIT Hamirpur, is all about crossing the borders of imagination, thinking outside the box, and creating irrelevant things.

NIMBUS, a technical fest that brings students from different states under the same roof and gives them a chance to compete with each other, is the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, which is conducted every year to promote the technical disposition in the institute. This technical fest is an annual collaboration and conjugation of some of the finest technical minds in the country to promulgate their skills, polish their brilliance, reminiscence their dedication, and widen the exposure. NIMBUS gives young engineers a platform to convert theoretical knowledge to practical innovations and a chance to see their envisioned projects become true. This year, it is scheduled from 9th to 11th April 2021. The theme of this year's NIMBUS is "Scopus: Integrating the divergent". The most awaited and renowned technical fest of North India is filled with numerous activities such as workshops, technical events, guest lectures, and exhibitions organized by the various departments of the institute. Nimbus is one of the best platforms for the students to think innovatively, develop, and come out as pioneers in implementing. It is an amalgamation of fun and learning where spectacular ideas are displayed, and students learn and feel inspired. Every year influential people are invited to deliver motivational speeches that shall instill grit and perseverance in the new age's budding minds. You get to know more people, work with them and understand them. Interactions with different ideological personalities add a bit more spice to your experience. We conduct Hackathons that encourage students to rack their brains and brainstorm to provide solutions for any existing substantial problem such as digitalization, electricity issues, and other alarming concerns. This technical fest guides the students to dream bigger and achieve them. But that's not all that you get from it. There are plenty of things that you learn while engulfing yourself in this fest.
With coronavirus spreading across six continents and over a hundred countries, it has now been declared a pandemic by WHO. Considering this, we have decided to carry out the events virtually this year. In short, NIMBUS is a chance to help you get out of your comfort zone and explore your hidden talents. We are sure that this fest will help students in understanding the practical aspects of their respective courses. Besides that, they'll also develop four essential skills from these fests- planning, teamwork, leadership, and multi-tasking.
