Objectives of Workshop:
- To interpret and assess human achievements and experience, and seek layers of meaning and richness of detail in written texts and cultural practices as they are the keepers of society.
- To create a common ground between conflicting insights into a particular problem from two or more disciplines.
- To demonstrate the importance of adopting an interdisciplinary approach to education for sustainable development.
- To explore challenges for interdisciplinary research for sustainable development.
- To connect disciplines within the social sciences and the humanities that are affected by or engage with, specific goals shared by scholars, practitioners in industry and nongovernmental organizations, and policymakers (transdisciplinary).
