ABOUT:
Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh is organizing an Online Faculty Development Program on ADVANCES IN ENVIRONMENTAL GEOTECHNICS. This FDP will be started on 12th October and ended on 16th October 2020.
OVERVIEW:
Environmental Geotechnics is a multidisciplinary solution to present-day problems such as scarcity of construction material, land constraints, energy crisis, carbon sequestration, seasonal influence on the stability of soil structures, disposal and management of industrial byproducts, design and functioning of a landfill, solid waste management, wastewater and sludge treatment, soil and groundwater contamination and many more. Therefore, this FDP aims at sharing knowledge on diversifying topics in Environmental Geotechnics providing a platform to encourage research.
