NIT Jamshedpur is organizing a 3rd International Conference on “Advancement in Materials Processing Technology” (Hybrid Mode).
The National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur earlier known as the Regional Institute of Technology was established on 15th August 1960. It was among the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) established as part of the Second Five-Year Plan (1956 - 1961). On 27th December 2002, RIT Jamshedpur was converted to the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur as per the decision of Govt. of India. Currently, NIT Jamshedpur is an institute of National Importance governed by the ministry of education (MoE).
