Application for Japenese Govt Scholarship; Apply by May 15ᵗʰ 2022
Overview :
The Government of Japan offers Government scholarships to Indian students for the academic year 2023 under its Japanese Government (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology: MEXT) Scholarship Program for Research Studies.
Qualification :
- For Research student/ Masters Course/ Doctoral Course(1ˢᵗ phase) - Bachelors degree in relevant field with 65% marks, The candidates should obtain their mark sheet and degree on or before 30ᵗʰ September 2023 for the October 2023 batch.
- For Doctoral Course( 2ⁿᵈ batch) - Master's degree in relevant field with 65% marks, The candidates should have practical teaching/ work experience after obtaining the prescribed qualification on or before 30ᵗʰ September 2023 for the October 2023 batch.
Stipend :
- Students receiving the preparatory education and non-regular students : 1,43,000 yen(Approx. Rs. 85,000 per month)
- Regular students enrolled in professional or master's degree courses: 1,44,000 yen( Approx. Rs 86,400 per month)
- Regular students enrolled in doctoral courses : 1,45,000 yen( Approx. Rs 87,000 per month)
