MeitY Startup Hub TIDE 2.0 Programme ("Scheme")

Overview:

• Foundation for Technology & Business Incubation (FTBI), NIT Rourkela invites Application for MeitY Startup Hub TIDE 2.0 Funding for EiR and Product Grant.
• Applications are being invited for a grant of up to INR 7 lakhs under the Ministry of Electronics and IT TIDE 2.0 programme ("Scheme"). The funding scheme is thematic in nature, with a focus on electronics, robotics, IT/ITeS, Artificial Intelligence (preferably original research), Deep Learning, and high-gestation period cutting-edge technology. FTBI NIT Rourkela is a Group 3 Incubation Centre under the mentioned scheme.

 

 

Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR):

For start-ups in the ideation phase and working on prototypes
Amount: INR 4 Lakh
Number of Vacancies: 2

 

Eligibility:

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Individual /team should have an idea /prototype.
• The solution must be ICT enabled and solving a pressing need in one of the following domains of national priority:

1. Healthcare
2. Education
3. Agriculture
4. Financial inclusion including digital payments
5. Infrastructure and transportation
6. Environment and cleantech
7. Clean energy solutions
8. Other emerging areas

• At least one member of the team should be willing to pursue the idea full time.
• Cannot be combined with fellowships from other funding organizations

 

 

Product/Prototyping Grant:

For startups with products, prototyping in advanced stage
Amount: INR 7 Lakh
Number of vacancies: 2

 

Eligibility:

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Individual/team must have a Proof of Concept (POC), with the initial prototype ready.
• Individual /team must have a prototype.
• The solution must be ICT enabled and solving a pressing need in one of the following domains of national priority:

1. Healthcare
2. Education
3. Agriculture
4. Financial inclusion including digital payments
5. Infrastructure and transportation
6. Environment and cleantech
7. Clean energy solutions
8. Other emerging areas

• At least one member of the team should be willing to pursue the idea full time.
• Cannot be combined with fellowships from other funding organizations.
