Overview:
Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur is inviting an application for "Research Associate-III" positions in the project entitled, "Interconnected Microgrids for rural electrification". The Last date of receiving applications: January 21st, 2021.
Position: Research Associate-III
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in electrical engineering
Desirable Experience:
- Microgrid Energy Management for optimal power exchange
- Design and simulation of clustered microgrid architecture
- Grid interconnection of the clustered microgrids at the point of common coupling
- Development of protection schemes for a clustered microgrid (AC as well as DC)
- controller development for monitoring and control of microgrid
- simulation platforms, such as RTDS and Typhoon-HIL
