NIT Tiruchirappalli is inviting applications for The Recruitment of Project Staff (Junior Research Fellow) [Emolument ₹35000]. Interested candidates can apply.

Title of the Project:

Development of Physics Informed Machine Learning Model for the Prediction of Fatigue in Calf Muscles.

Project Positions and Numbers:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/PA I/PA-II Vacancy=1(ONE)

Essential Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control (or) Electronics and Instrumentation (or) Electronics and Communication (or) Biomedical Engineering qualified in first class and M.E/M.Tech with First class in any discipline who has relevant research experience in biomedical signals, systems, and images.

Emoluments:

For GATE-qualified candidates –Rs 31,000/- and Rs 35,000
For Non-GATE Qualified Candidates:

1. Project Associate II (with 2 years relevant experience) – Rs. 28,000/-
2. Project Associate I – Rs. 25,000/-

Upper Age Limit:

35 years (In exceptional cases, the age may be relaxed for experienced/deserving candidates).

Duration:

One year and extendable to two more years based on the performance of the candidate.

Job Description:

• To design experimental protocol and record biosignals
• To analyze the signals and develop learning models
• Test and validate the models
• Visit the collaborative sports centers and laboratories in medical universities
• Participation in lab meetings and seminars
• Documentation

Additional Infomation:

1. Selected candidates will be encouraged to register for the Ph.D. as per Institute regulations in the upcoming academic session.
2. Mere fulfilling the above criteria will not be sufficient. The higher criteria for the selection of the candidates may be imposed based on the number of applications.
3.
