IIT Patna is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow and Post-Doctoral Fellow. Interested ones can apply. Applications are invited in the prescribed format only for the following assignment in this institute's purely time-bound research project.

Name of the research project:

“6G: THz Testbed with Orbital Angular Momentum and Multiplexing”& “Design and simulation of Luneburg Lens and Hemispherical Dielectric Lens Focal Planar array for simultaneous multiple beams”.

Salary:

For Junior Research Fellow: - Rs. 37000/- per month plus HRA as per GoI norms rules
For Post-Doctoral Fellow: - Rs. 58,000/- per month (consolidated) and Rs. 42,000/ - per month for candidates who have submitted the thesis but the degree not awarded.

Qualifications & Experience:

For Junior Research Fellow:

M.Tech./M.E/M.S. degree in Engineering/Technology (Relevant Disciplines: Electronics and Communication, RF and Microwave Engineering, and similar) from a recognized University, with a minimum CPI of 6.0 or 60% of marks. Candidates with GATE/NET scores will be given preference.
Work/research experience in the field of Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, Antenna and Microwave measurements, and Software such as CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, ADS, and MATLAB will be given preference.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant discipline with a minimum CPI of 8 or 75% of marks with a valid GATE score.
The upper age limit for applying for the above position shall be 28 years. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PD will be given as per the GoI rules.

For Post-Doctoral Fellow:

Ph.D degree in Engineering/Technology (Relevant Expertise in the field of Microwave and Antenna Technology, RF and Microwave Engineering, Next Generation Communication Technology, and similar) from a recognized University. Those who have submitted their PhD thesis and are awaiting the award of the degree are also eligible to apply.
List one IEEE Journal/ Letter publication and/or a total of minimum 2 SCI Journal publications with experience in CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, ADS, MATLAB and operating measurement instruments such as VNA, Spectrum Analyser, Anechoic Chamber, and other similar will be given preference.
The upper age limit for the fellowship is 35 years at the time of the submission of the application.
