Job profile:
The fellow would pursue research at the iHub.Potential activities that the post-doctoral faculty fellow may engage in at the iHub may include:

The iHub post-doc Fellow is expected to do research and technology development at the iHub in areas related to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science, and Multisensory Applications”.

To develop technologies for industrial adoption like

Assistive technologies to cover health (mental and physical)

Experience technologies covering entertainment, and gaming visualization.

Device-based technologies cover IOT, social robots, and cognitive robots.

Conduct user research to understand customer needs and pain points.

Designing and prototyping interactive systems, products, or services.
-
Evaluating the usability and effectiveness of interactive systems, products, or services.
-
Presenting research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
-
Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product development, engineering, and design.
-
Mentoring junior researchers or interns.
-
Participating in grant writing and proposal development for internal and external funding opportunities
-
Contributing to the development of intellectual property.

Keeping abreast with the latest developments and trends in the field of HCI and assessing their potential impact on the company.

Essential Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in a related field such as “Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science, and Multisensory Applications”.

Strong programming and data analysis skills, and experience with specific HCI-related tools and technologies, such as user research software, design tools, and programming languages.

Age limit: Preferably less than 35 years. Age will not be a bar for exceptionally qualified candidates.

The nationality of the candidate is not a constraint.

Candidate must be qualified for GATE/GPAT/ NET or equivalent examination.

The CGPA of the applicant should be greater than or equal to 7.5 throughout your academic.
Financial support:
- An attractive monthly Fellowship (INR 70,000 - INR 85,000)
Duration and continuation:
The Fellowship may last one year to 1.5 years and extend beyond this period for another period based on performance. The Fellow will be evaluated at regular intervals by an internal review committee.
