Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, IIT Patna is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow. Interested ones can apply. Applications are invited in the prescribed format only for the following assignment in this institute's purely time-bound research project

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – (Vacancy: 01 post)
Duration of the Post:
Initially 01 year and can be extended up to a maximum of 03 years subject to satisfactory performance. (Note: JRF may apply in PhD program of CBE Dept. of IIT Patna)
Name of the project:
Coalescence dynamics of the aqueous droplet at the nanoscale: Insight from molecular simulation
Salary:
Rs. 37,000/- per month for first two years + HRA (as applicable) and Rs. 42,000/- per month for the third year + HRA (as applicable)
Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology, BiochemicalEngineering, or Mechanical Engineering with valid GATE score/NET qualification

M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering / ChemicalTechnology /BiochemicalEngineering / Mechanical Engineering (and specializations therein)with GATE / NET qualification

M.Sc. in physics and chemistry with valid GATE score/NET qualification
Experience:
Working/research experience in surface and interfacial properties of complex molecules using computational techniques will be preferred.
Age limit:
The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years for B. Tech./B.E. and 32 years for M. Tech./M.E./M.Sc. degree. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PD will be given as per the GOI rules.
