Qualifications and Skills Required :
- BE/Btech in any discipline
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Backend REST API and/or mobile app and/or web automation testing
- Hands-on programming experience in Java
- Experience in designing, developing, debugging, and executing automation scripts
- Experience in one or more automation tools like RestAssured/Karate/Jersey
- Client/HTTP-Client/Appium/Selenium
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
- Well-versed with writing test cases and bug logging
- Understand functional/technical specifications and analyze server logs
- Ability to look for potential quality issues proactively
- Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
- Experience in CI-CD tools like Jenkins will be a plus
- Bonus points for experience in MySQL, Linux/Unix commands, and cloud technologies like AWS, GCP
- Good to have experience in performance testing
- Good to have experience in a microservices-based architecture
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with Product Managers and Developers, analyze requirements, design and review detailed test plans and test cases and execute them
- Understand the modules, services, applications you own and how they interact with other components of Meesho systems
- Develop and execute automation scripts
- Continuously monitor automation test results and ensure no random test failures in automation
- Ensures zero-defect leakages Work closely with the Development team and ensure code is delivered with high code coverage
- Maintain CI and CD pipelines
- Maintain and own QA environments and infrastructure
- Participate in planning meetings and provide estimations
