Horizontal reservation of PwD is to be maintained as per the Government of India norms. As per Section 34 of the Rights of PwDs Act, 2016, Out of the above, the PwD vacancies are earmarked for different Disabilities:
- Blindness & low vision.
- Deaf & hard of hearing.
- Locomotor Disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy.
- Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and mental illness;
- (e) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clause (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness in the posts identified for each disability.
