Not Exceeding 35 Years
Essential Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 60% marks or an equivalent Professional degree or its equivalent with an equivalent grade (6.5 on 10 point scale) or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service.

Qualifying in the national level test such as NET/SLET/SET conducted for UGC or any other agency approved by UGC.
Desirable Qualifications:

PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.

Candidates with a higher degree (Ph. D. or equivalent) in a relevant Discipline shall be preferred.
Consolidated Pay:
Selected candidates shall be eligible for a consolidated pay of Rs. 40,000/- per month with a Master’s Degree and Rs. 50,000/- per month with a Ph.D. Degree.

Incomplete application forms shall not be considered for shortlisting and the criteria of shortlisting shall be as per the Institute's requirements and norms.

Mere fulfillment of essential qualifications and specialization requirements does not entitle any candidate to a call to the interview. Short-listing criteria may be set higher than the advertised (if required).
