Overview: 

NIT Tiruchirappalli is inviting applications temporary Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Interested candidates can apply.

 

Position:

JRF / Project Associate I / Project Associate II

Essential Qualification:

B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M.E/M.Tech or Equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Communication Systems/ RF and Microwave Engineering/ Antenna Design etc.) selected through any one of the following

1. National Eligibility Tests –CSIR –UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

 A candidate with a qualified GATE score will be considered for the JRF post and a candidate without a GATE score will be considered for the Project Associate post.

 

Salary (Consolidate):

Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA for JRF (Valid Gate score)

Rs.28,000 + 16% HRA for Project Associate II with 2 years experience

Rs.25,000 + 16% HRA for Project Associate I

 

Upper Age limit:

35

 

Duration of Project: 

3 years

 

Job Description:

1. Purchase of equipment and components for the project
2. Simulation, Fabrication, and Experimental verification of the fluidically reconfigurable devices.
3. Documentation of the results.

 

Additional Information:

1. Selected candidates will be encouraged to register for the Ph.D. as per Institute regulations in the upcoming academic session.
2. Mere fulfilling the above criteria will not be sufficient. The higher criteria for the selection of the candidates may be imposed based on the number of applications.
3. The selection committee decision is final. If any applicant is found to canvass in any manner, the candidate selection can be summarily rejected.
4. Preference will be given to the candidate who has a good academic record, research potential, and relevant experience.
