Overview:

NIT Warangal is inviting applications for Recruitment. Interested ones can apply. NIT Warangal strives to have a workforce that reflects gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply.

Objectives:

Online applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens to fill up the following posts regularly through direct recruitment/deputation (incl. short-term contract) basis. Eligible candidates can apply through the online recruitment portal available at: www.nitw.ac.in.

ISTC: Including Short Term Contract- is a form of deputation where officers from non-government bodies e.g. universities, research institutions, public sector undertakings for teaching, research, scientific and technical post(s) apply to the Institute posts.

Relaxation in Age Limit:

Up to a maximum of five years for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and three years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates would be available only for posts reserved.
10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability of minimum 40% (Divyangjan) (PWBD + OBC-NCL=13 years; PWBD+SC/ST = 15 years)
Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be provided as per Government of India orders.
Age relaxation for departmental candidates will be considered as per the rules.
Meritorious sports persons are eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit as per the Government of India's orders.
Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years shall be admissible to children/family members of those who died in the 1984 riots in India.

Note: Only SSC/X-Standard/ Matriculation Certificate / Birth Certificate issued by appropriate government authority will be accepted as proof of date of birth.

Application Fees:

Non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- for UR/OBC/ EWS candidates for Group ‘A’ posts (Posts at Sl. Nos. 1-3 above) and Rs. 500/- for Group ‘B’ post (Sr. No. 4) payable through the online recruitment portal.
Candidates applying for multiple posts and/ or multiple modes of recruitment [Direct Recruitment/ Deputation (ISTC)] should submit separate applications and remit the fee for each post.
No fee will be charged for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates.
Failing to remit the fee in case of applicable category candidates as per the instructions will render rejection of the application. The Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to apply:

Facility for submission of online applications will be available from 23-01-2024 at 06:00 pm to 29-02-2024 at 11:59 pm on the website of NITW i.e. www.nitw.ac.in under the tab "Careers/ Jobs".
Those candidates applying for the Direct Recruitment method, who are currently working under the Central/ State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, etc., should furnish a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” at the stage of Certificate Verification/ Interview.
Those candidates applying for Deputation (ISTC) method: Upon submission of the online application, a self-attested hard copy of the application should be routed through the proper channel, to reach the “Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Warangal – 506004” within 30 days from the date of closing of online applications, accompanied by the following documents:

Certified copies of APARs for the last 05 years duly attested on each page by an officer, not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent;
Vigilance clearance certificate;
No Objection certificate.

The online application will be treated as an advance copy only. In the event of non-receipt of a hard copy of the application through proper channels within the stipulated period, the candidature will be considered provisionally if a No Objection Certificate is provided by that time along with an undertaking that he shall arrange for the above documents at the time of the interview, failing which the candidature will be treated as canceled. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Instruction for uploading Photo and Signature:

Photo: The image should be of size 165 x 125 pixels in jpg/jpeg format and should not exceed 50 KB with the name and date at the bottom of the photograph.
Signature: The image should be of size 80 x 125 pixels in jpg/jpeg format and should not exceed 20 KB
