Overview:

Applications are invited for One Position (01) of Project Post-Doctoral Fellow and One Position (01) of Project Engineer at the Indian Institute of Technolgy Kanpur.

Project Title: "Complex Defence Object Recognition and Autonomous Handling in Unstructured and Noisy Outdoor Environment".

Position 1: Project Post-Doctoral Fellow (1)

Position 2: Project Engineer (1)

1. Project Post-Doctoral Fellow

Qualification:

The candidate must have specialization in the field having experience in 3D localization and environment mapping, 3D object recognition, robotics, force closure and tactile sensing, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
The candidate having direct experience in Complex Defence Object Recognition and Autonomous Handling in Unstructured and Noisy Outdoor Environments would be preferred.
Ph.D.* from a reputed university/ institute and an excellent track record and publications/ patents in a research area relevant to the sponsored project.
* Duration in Ph.D. degree after three years will be considered as research experiences.

Salary Range:

INR 50000/ 55000/ 60000 (Consolidated Salary)

Duration:

The post is purely temporary and contractual. The appointment will be valid till the end of the project i.e., up to Dec 16^th, 2021.

2. Project Engineer

Qualification:

M.Tech. (EE/ECE/CSE) + 1-year relevant experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Deep Learning/ Control/ Computer Vision

B.Tech. (EE/ECE/CSE) with M.B.A. + 1-year relevant experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Deep Learning/ Control/ Computer Vision

B.Tech. (EE/ECE/CSE) + 3 years relevant experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Deep Learning/ Control/ Computer Vision
