IIT Mandi | Opening for Library Trainee; Apply by July 15th, 2021

Overview:
- Applications from Indian Nationals are invited through online mode (email only) in the prescribed proforma for the following Adhoc (purely temporary) position at IIT Mandi.
Positions:
Library Trainee:
- Fellowship: Rs.15,000 per month
- No of posts: 03
- Duration: purely temporary for one year
Qualification:
- Master of Library and Information Science (M. Lib. Inf. Sci.) from an affiliated university/institute with at least 60% marks or equivalent, obtained after graduation. Result awaited candidates can also apply.
Desirable Qualification:
- Knowledge of Computer Applications, Library Management Software
Job Requirement:
- All the works are associated with the library. Initial training will be provided to a fresher candidate.
- The candidate is also expected to work during odd hours.

Important Points:
- The post listed above is an Adhoc (purely temporary) position on a contract basis for a year.
- The post is open to eligible persons from all caste and categories to apply.
- The applicants must clearly specify the name of the post on the envelope.
- The last date for submission of duly completed applications in the prescribed form along with an attested copy of certificates through email will be 15.07.2021, thereafter no applications will be entertained.
- No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the written test/Interview.
