Overview:

• Applications are invited for the position of “Junior Research Fellow” at IIT Gandhinagar for working on a project.
• Project Title: “Low-Cost Point-of-Use (POU) Water Purifier”.

About the Position:

• Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• No. of Position: 01
• Duration: 6 months
• Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Qualification:

• M.Tech or B.Tech with valid GATE score from IIT/NIT or other reputed universities in Chemical or Materials Engineering with a good academic background (First Class) throughout the career
• Candidate with hands-on experience in drinking water treatment/disinfection/purification including materials preparation and filter design will be preferred
• Candidates with prior experience in surface engineering techniques for drinking/ sewage water treatment will be preferred
• The candidate must have thorough knowledge about point-of-use water purifiers.
