Department of Computer Science & Engineering, NIT Raipur is inviting applications for a Workshop on Ethical Hacking & Digital Forensics. Interested ones can apply. The course allows one to upscale and pursue a career in the challenging, adventurous, and rewarding field of Cyber Security & Digital Forensics.

 

 

Objectives:

• This course is aimed at training cybersecurity enthusiasts in identifying and reporting the findings, especially those related to security, vulnerabilities, exploits, and digital forensics results legally and ethically

• The proposed program is an instructor-led program, which aims to provide knowledge of real-world scenarios with hands-on experience in case studies to develop potential forensic skills.

• This is a technical skilling program, essential to launch a professional career in the exciting domain of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.

• The proposed program is designed to equip students and professionals aspiring to start a technical career in cyber security.

• Anti-forensics and Anti-anti-forensics

• Volatile Memory Forensics

• Metasploit Framework

• Internet of Things (IoT) Forensics

• Email and DRONE Forensics

• Password Recovery Tools & Techniques

• Mobile Forensics

• App Forensics

 

 

Eligibility:

• UG/PG graduated/pursuing (final/pre-final year) students seeking cyber security skills

• Ph.D. Scholars from higher education institutions

• Faculties / Staff / Lab Instructors from technical and academic institutions

• Govt. Employees or Industry/working professionals seeking cybersecurity skills

• Any other Cyber Security enthusiasts

 

 

Important Dates:

Registration Last Date: 30th April 2024

List of shortlisted Candidates: 2nd May 2024

Fee Payment Duration: 2nd to 10th May 2024

Course Start Date: 27th May 2024

Course End Date: 31st May 2024

 

 

Registration Process:

1. Fill in the required basic details

2. Upload valid ID proof (Aadhar/Driving License/ Voter ID/Passport/Employee ID Card

3. Upload proof of qualifying degree/course.

4. Upload a soft copy of the passport photograph

5. Submit the form.

6. After verification, a confirmation email and guidelines will be sent to the shortlisted candidates on 02 May 2024

7. The shortlisted candidates need to pay the course fee including GST on or before 10 May 2024

8. Email fee receipts to the coordinators.

 

 

Number of Participants:

The number of participants in the course is limited. Preference will be given to the candidates who have a background in the field of Cyber Security or Digital Forensics, on a first come basis.
