Department of Chemistry, NIT Silchar is inviting applications for the post of JRF. Interested ones can apply. Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a CSIR, Govt. of India, sponsored project.
Title of the project:
Defect-Engineered Acid-Functionalized Monolithic Metal-Organic Frameworks as a Heterogeneous Catalyst for Biodiesel Production

Duration:
03 (Three) years or till Completion of the Project, whichever is earlier (extension of selected candidates would be based on performance review every 12 months)
Age Limit:
28 years (by the time of one month from the date of advertisement) (Relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/ Physically Handicapped/Female candidates)
Essential Qualification:
As per CSIR Guidelines for Research Scheme/ Sponsored Schemes/ Emeritus Scientist Pl. refer to CSIR-HRDG website: www.csirhrdg.res.in M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Physics/ M. Tech in Chemical engineering with at least 55 % marks and passing of NET-LS/GATE test.
Desirable Experience:
0 to 3 years of post-PG experience
Salary:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Rs. 31,000/- p.m, Suitable accommodation will be provided subject to availability.
